Conservation in Paraguay
We’re a not-for-profit conservation organisation that protects habitats and species in Paraguay through scientific research and community outreach. We also promote a responsible approach to reserve management where tourists contribute to social, scientific and conservation projects that are designed to have a positive impact on Paraguay.

Save our species
The white-winged nightjar is a critically endangered species known to breed in only three locations in the world. One of these is at Reserva Natural Laguna Blanca, home to Para La Tierra. This bird, its home and many other species which share its habitat will disappear forever if we don’t act now to conserve them.
Help us achieve more
Since April 2010 we’ve welcomed more than 250 ecologically minded visitors to assist with more than 40 distinct projects at Reserva Natural Laguna Blanca. We’ve discovered more than 50 new species for Paraguay, including five snakes, an armadillo and a frog. Read more about our discoveries by downloading our scientific publications.
